"Project Runways" Move Blocked

When Lifetime won the next season of Project, NBC went to court trying to stop the move saying they had the first rights to refuse the show. Well NBC won an injunction for the time being and Project Runway is not going to Lifetime next season as expected according to The Hollywood Reporter.
"NBC Universal is pleased that the court granted our motion for a preliminary injunction against the Weinstein Co.," NBC Uni said in a statement. "The overwhelming evidence demonstrated that the Weinstein Co. violated NBC Universal's right of first refusal to future cycles of 'Project Runway.' After hearing all of the evidence, the court issued an order prohibiting the Weinstein Co. from taking the show or any spinoff to Lifetime."
Lifetime said in a statement: "We are disappointed with the court's decision to grant the preliminary injunction against the Weinstein Co. It's unfortunate that the people hurt most by this ongoing dispute are the loyal fans of 'Project Runway.' In the meantime, Lifetime will pursue all measures to uphold its valid and binding agreement reached with the Weinstein Co. for Season 6 of 'Project Runway.' "
I am torn between the two. I think Lifetime may have brought some new life into the show, but Bravo has given us some great reality shows.

Is This Going To Be On Cops ?

Ryan O'Neal's lawyer tells People that the meth found in his Malibu home does not belong to him. In case you were in a meth hole yourself, Ryan and his son were arrested on Wednesday after cops found meth in their house.
Ryan's lawyer said: "Those were not Ryan's drugs, he doesn't use drugs, and has nothing to do with them. It's a dangerous assumption for deputies to have arrested Ryan just because he was in proximity to the drugs. This situation is very upsetting to Ryan because he's just trying to lead his life quietly. I have full confidence that Ryan will be vindicated."

Here's a few pictures of Farrah Fawcett and REDmond O'Neal outside of Ryan's house the other day. A source told People that Farrah was sleeping in the house when Ryan and her son were arrested.

I have always been a fan of Farrah Fawcett. I do feel bad for her. She has been fighting cancer for awhile now and then she has to deal with these two twits.

Michael Phelps Joins 'Entourage'

Swimming champion Michael Phelps will make a cameo on the HBO comedy Entourage later this year, reports EW.

The 23-year-old Olympian literally stumbled upon the show’s set while it was recently shooting in Manhattan. Series producer Doug Ellin immediately wrote Phelps into the episode after learning how Phelps was a big fan.
Entourage kicks begins its fifth season @ 10PM on Sunday, Sept. 7 on HBO. For more information, visit HBO.com.
I would love for it to be a nude scene.

Zac Efron In Teen Vogue

Teen Vogue tapped photographer Bruce Weber to shoot Zac Efron for their October 2008 cover.

“To be the cover of the Young Hollywood issue is a big honor,” Zac gushed. “I’m glad that someone is honoring the new up and coming stars. I think there’s a lot of new talent coming up and I’m proud to represent.”
When asked how it was shooting the cover, the 20-year-old High School Musical star said, “Today’s shoot was very natural. We’re not in a studio, we’re outside. I’m very lucky to work with Bruce. He’s such an icon in the world of photography.”

Daniel Radcliffe Wants To Cross Dress

Daniel Radcliffe would like to, as gender-bender boys like to say, hide his candy.

The 19-year-old Brit, who has made an almost lifelong career playing Harry Potter, says he wouldn’t mind doing some cross-dressing on the big screen.

“I think part of me would love to play a drag queen,” Radcliffe says in the new issue of Details magazine, “just because it would be an excuse to wear loads of eye makeup.”

That’s not the only thing Mr. Radcliffe reveals…

He tells writer Chris Norris that he celebrated turning 16 (Britain’s age of consent) with an older girlfriend.

While it doesn’t sound like a Demi and Ashton situation—Radcliffe insists the age difference “wasn’t ridiculous”—he does admit “it would freak some people out.”

Radcliffe hits Broadway later this month to star in Equus. And yes, he’ll be onstage eight times a week baring his full frontal just as he did in the original London production.

When asked if he’s ever been in therapy like Alan Strang, the psych patient he plays in Equus, Radcliffe boasts, “Please. No. Never. I’ve been pretty happy. I’ve got a great family. We’re a very tight-knit group—we work very well as a team and as a tribe. I owe it to that.”

Even the craziness of Harry Potter hasn’t caused him any child star angst. “For the most part I’ve been happy every single day,” Radcliffe insists. “And all the times I’ve been unhappy, it’s never been anything to do with Potter. It’s just been the normal, boring teenage crap. Insecurities, acne—all the normal stuff.”

'Bandit' Star Jerry Reed Dies At 71

NASHVILLE, Tennessee (AP) -- Jerry Reed, a singer who became a good ol' boy actor in car chase movies like "Smokey and the Bandit," has died of complications from emphysema at 71.

His longtime booking agent, Carrie Moore-Reed, no relation to the star, said Reed died early Monday.
"He's one of the greatest entertainers in the world. That's the way I feel about him," Moore-Reed said.
Reed was a gifted guitarist who later became a songwriter, singer and actor.
As a singer in the 1970s and early 1980s, he had a string of hits that included "Amos Moses," "When You're Hot, You're Hot," "East Bound and Down" and "The Bird."
In the mid-1970s, he began acting in movies such as "Smokey and the Bandit" with Burt Reynolds, usually as a good ol' boy. But he was an ornery heavy in "Gator," directed by Reynolds, and a hateful coach in 1998's "The Waterboy," starring Adam Sandler.
Reynolds gave him a shiny black 1980 Trans Am like the one they used in "Smokey and the Bandit."

Reed and Kris Kristofferson paved the way for Nashville music personalities to make inroads into films. Dolly Parton, Willie Nelson and Kenny Rogers (TV movies) followed their lead.
"I went around the corner to motion pictures," he said in a 1992 AP interview.
Reed had quadruple bypass surgery in June 1999.
Born in Atlanta, Reed learned to play guitar at age 8 when his mother bought him a $2 guitar and showed him how to play a G-chord.
He dropped out of high school to tour with Ernest Tubb and Faron Young.
At 17, he signed his first recording contract, with Capitol Records.
He moved to Nashville in the mid-1960s where he caught the eye of Chet Atkins.
He first established himself as a songwriter. Elvis Presley recorded two of his songs, "U.S. Male" and "Guitar Man" (both in 1968). He also wrote the hit "A Thing Called Love," which was recorded in 1972 by Johnny Cash. He also wrote songs for Brenda Lee, Tom Jones, Dean Martin, Nat King Cole and the Oak Ridge Boys.
Reed was voted instrumentalist of the year in 1970 by the Country Music Association.
He won a Grammy Award for "When You're Hot, You're Hot" in 1971. A year earlier, he shared a Grammy with Chet Atkins for their collaboration, "Me and Jerry." In 1992, Atkins and Reed won a Grammy for "Sneakin' Around."
Reed continued performing on the road into the late 1990s, doing about 80 shows a year.
"I'm proud of the songs, I'm proud of things that I did with Chet (Atkins), I'm proud that I played guitar and was accepted by musicians and guitar players," he told the AP in 1992.
In a 1998 interview with The Tennessean, he admitted that his acting ability was questionable.
"I used to watch people like Richard Burton and Mel Gibson and think, 'I could never do that.'
"When people ask me what my motivation is, I have a simple answer: Money."
